Caswell Super Stripper is compatible with most metals and plastics. It safely removes powder coatings from galvanized steel, aluminum, zinc, copper, brass, carbon steel and stainless, as well as most plastics, but not silicones.
Stripping time ranges from 30 - 120 minutes, depending on the thickness of the coating. The solution should be maintained above 68 deg.F.
Super Stripper reduces the coating to its powder particles, which drop to the bottom of the immersion tank. It does not require blasting, scrubbing or scraping to facilitate stripping. Agitation is recommended to minimize dissolved paint sticking to the parts.
After stripping, simply rinse off residue with water.
Keep the stripping tank covered when not in use, and filter out the solid particles occasionally to maximize service life of the solution.
